Privacy
TablID is operated by Qwaath Private Limited. This page says what we collect, why we collect it, and how to have it removed. It is meant to be read.
What we collect
A phone number, when a restaurant’s owner or staff member signs in, or when an owner adds someone to their team by phone number, before that person has signed in themselves. It is used to send a one-time code and to know who is on shift. A guest ordering at a table does not need an account and is not asked for a phone number, unless the restaurant chooses to turn that on.
What was ordered— the dishes, the times and the bill. This is the restaurant’s record of its own service.
A rating, if a guest leaves one after the meal, with an optional comment.
A small identifier on the guest’s phone, so their order and their share of the bill follow them for the length of the meal. It is not used for advertising and it is not shared with anyone.
Your name, your restaurant’s name and your phone number, if you fill in the form on this site asking us to call you back.
A one-way scrambled version of your network address, when you send that form — only so the same sender cannot submit it again and again. We never store the address itself.
How the screens are used— which pages were opened, what was tapped, and a replay of the screen when something goes wrong, so we can find a fault instead of guessing at it. Anything typed into a box is hidden before the replay leaves the device, so a phone number or a one-time code is never in it. The code on your table’s QR is removed too. This is never used for advertising.
About the messages we send
SMS from TablID is only ever a sign-in code or an update about an order that was placed. We never send marketing messages. Messages are sent under a sender header registered to Qwaath Private Limited.
The help we use
The usage and fault reports described above are handled for us by PostHog, on servers in the European Union. They hold it on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
Who it belongs to
A restaurant’s order and guest data belongs to that restaurant. We do not sell it, and we do not hand it to anyone outside what is needed to run the service for them.
How long we keep it
Records are kept while the restaurant’s account is open. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time, and this page says exactly what goes with it. Some records have to be kept longer to meet tax and accounting rules.
