Who uses which screen
The guest
Their own phone camera. Nothing to install and nothing to log into; they order, see where their food is, and watch the bill so far.
The waiter
The TablID Cloud POS app on their own phone, signed in with their phone number. One tap accepts an order and claims the table.
The kitchen
Any old tablet, laptop or TV with a browser — or a thermal printer, if there is no screen.
The owner
The same app, from anywhere: the live floor, today’s takings, any past bill, your regulars, and what guests thought.
A bar, a hotel or a QSR
The same tables, rounds and bills, told to behave differently: pegs and bottles for a bar, rooms and folios for a hotel, a counter with no tables for a QSR.
A counter with no internet
That is TablID Offline POS, a separate product: one Windows PC at the counter that bills and prints with no internet at all.
What you need to start
- An Android phone. Any one you already own.
- Wifi, or mobile data on that phone.
- Your menu on paper, so we can read it in.
- Your waiters’ phone numbers.
Straight answers
- Do I need to buy a computer or a billing machine?
- No. TablID Cloud POS runs on the Android phone you already own, and on your waiters’ phones. A tablet or a computer screen works as well if you want one, but there is no desktop to buy and no machine to rent.
- Who puts my menu in?
- Photograph your printed menu and AI reads in the sections, dishes, prices and portions. Nothing it reads is written until you have looked at it and said yes.
- Can I start with only part of it?
- Yes. Open with the menu and the kitchen, and leave stock off until the evening runs itself. You choose which parts you want, and you can change your mind.
