How to use TablID

Every task in the app, recorded from a phone. Open the one you need — most are under half a minute.

The videos have no sound, so they work with your phone on silent. What to do is written above each one.

Set your restaurant up

Done once, before your first service.

Add a table19 secName it, set how many it seats, and put it in an area. TablID makes its QR card straight away — print it from the same screen.
Rename a table, or change its seats19 secPress and hold any table to edit it. The card you have already printed keeps working — the code never changes.
Take a table off the floor17 secIt comes off every list. Past bills, invoices and ratings stay exactly as they are, but its printed card stops working.
Put a dish on the menu1 min 33 secPhoto, name, description, price and cook time. Add Half and Full sizes if the dish sells at more than one price.
Add your team1 min 23 secA waiter, a manager or a chef — a name and a mobile number is all it takes. They are invited, and they join the moment they first sign in.

Run a service

The evening itself, from seating a guest to taking the money.

Seat a guest who is not using their phone20 secOpen the table and tap Start session. It goes from Free to Seated, and you order for them.
Take an order for a table33 secPick the table, tap dishes to add them, then review. Add a note to any dish — less spicy, no onion — before it goes to the kitchen.
Accept an order, or cancel one dish48 secAccept All sends the whole round to the kitchen. To drop a single dish instead, swipe it, cancel, and say why — sold out, kitchen error, or the guest changed their mind. The rest of the round is untouched.
Add another round, then settle47 secDishes ordered later join the same running bill. At the end, take something off in rupees or as a percent if you want to, and mark it paid.
Move an order to another table21 secThe whole running bill goes with it, dishes already with the kitchen included.

Keep the menu true

Mid-rush, in two taps, so nobody orders what you cannot cook.

Mark a dish sold out22 secOpen the dish and tap Mark sold out. It greys out on every guest’s phone within seconds.
Put a sold-out dish back10 secSwipe the dish in your menu and tap Restore. It is orderable again immediately.

Look back at the day

After service, and any day after that.

See a day’s sales and settled tables32 secSales, tables served and your rating, for any day or any week. Every settled table is listed underneath, newest first.
Find a past bill and print it14 secTap any settled table in History to open its receipt — the line items, any discount, GST and the total — and print it again.
